Course Overview
With this course, you will gain a broad understanding of modern computer programming. You will acquire introductory skills in problem analysis, solution design, and program construction. Through practical programming activities, the student will gain an appreciation of
the nature and history of computer programming.
Apply Python programming using branching, loops functions, objects and classes. Utilise python libraries to work with datasets. Solve basic programming problems using a variety of skills and strategies. Examine working programs to identify their structures. Apply appropriate techniques to create entry-level programs from models.
Learning Outcomes
- Explain fundamentals of program design process, algorithms and programming concepts.
- Identify suitable programming control structure to solve problems and express the solution as an algorithm.
- Build simple programs to solve problems using appropriate conditional and iteration constructs for a given
programming task.

Mr Feroz is an exemplary problem-solver and a reliable senior IT executive with a strong technical background, and excellent client service records. Adept at simplifying complex technical concepts and processes to clients and non-technical staff in a clear manner, Mr Feroz has consistently received positive feedback from his training sessions. He is also a capable multitasker, being able to bring several simultaneous installation and repair projects to completion, with full accuracy and efficiency.
