Mannvir Baljit Singh

Senior Legal Associate, T. Thavalingam & Co, Kuala Lumpur.

Mannvir Baljit Singh specialises in employment and industrial relations law, with experience representing both private and government-linked companies in unfair dismissal, breach of confidentiality, and complex employment disputes before the Industrial Court and superior courts.

He read law at Cardiff University, graduating with honours in 2017, and was called to the Bar of England and Wales (Lincoln’s Inn) in 2018. He went on to obtain a Master of Laws (LLM) from the University of Sydney in 2019 and holds a Professional Diploma in International Commercial Arbitration.

Mannvir began his legal career under the tutelage of Dato’ Malik Imtiaz Sarwar before being admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 2021. He subsequently practised with the late Datuk Seri Gopal Sri Ram, assisting in a wide range of civil, commercial, and constitutional matters, including appeals before the Federal Court.

He is also a published author in the Malayan Law Journal, focusing on commercial and arbitration-related issues.
